Micro
Micro is our 'pretty girl.' She's about 18 months older
than her two adopted baby brothers, Galen and Londo.
Although she's 'officially' my cat, Miss Micro is
really Doug's cat. Or more specifically, he is her pet.
I named her Micro because she was very small as a kitten, I teach
microeconomics, and I use microcomputers all of the time. The name
seemed fitting.
She loves to play with with box flaps and
drawstrings, and she personifies the expression, "jumpy as a
cat." More pictures. |

Galen
Galen is the litter mate to Londo. I named Galen after the
techno-mage
in the short-lived Babylon
5 spin-off TV series
Crusade.
He is smaller than his brother, therefore, he
is sometimes called "Little." There's no question that he is
definitely the dominant cat in the house--by a measure of
degree--they all get along fairly well.
Galen loves to splash in water, drink out of the sink,
"knead" your stomach, and lick plastic bags. If
he's not playing with one of his toy mice, he's bull-dozing
things off the counters and furniture.
When he was younger no toe was safe from his middle of the night love
bites. More pictures. |

Londo
Londo is the litter mate to Galen, and he is
named after the
character
Ambassador Londo Mollari
of Babylon
5.
Although I love all of my cats, Londo holds a
very special place in my heart. We share a bond that I
couldn't even begin to describe. Suffice it to say he's
helped me through some pretty rough patches in my life.
Londo is also the most
social cat I've ever seen. He has no fear of anyone.
However, he isn't exactly the most graceful creature on four
legs.
And
like his brother, he licks too, but he's more likely to lick
you (and purr and drool)--especially early in the morning
when you're trying to grab that last hour of sleep! More
pictures.
