Arwen appeared one bitter cold day in December 2003 screaming so loudly I knew she was starving. After a couple of days of coaxing, and many bowls of food, we got to know one another.  Sweet, smart, and a bit sassy, this cat was quite a gem.  A friend, Mark Whittaker, who had NEVER owned a pet before, agreed to give her 'temporary' housing. That was over two years ago.  She ran away, April 7, 2006 vanishing without a trace. Ms. Arwen, you are truly missed.
